Real-ESRGAN is a free, browser-based tool that enhances image and video quality and upscales resolution using AI. All media processing happens locally in your browser using browser APIs and local model runtimes. We do not upload, store, or process your images or videos on any server.

Real-ESRGAN is provided free of charge. There are no premium tiers, credit limits, or hidden fees. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or disrupt the service
• Ensure you have the right to process any image or video you select in the tool
• Not use the service to enhance copyrighted content without authorization

Real-ESRGAN is an open-source image super-resolution project released by Xintao Wang and contributors under the BSD 3-Clause License. real-esrgan.org is an independent website that runs a browser-based conversion of the publicly released Real-ESRGAN general-x4v3 model together with other open-source models. This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Real-ESRGAN authors, Tencent ARC Lab, or any of their affiliates. The name “Real-ESRGAN” is used solely to identify the underlying open-source model. Model attribution and license files are published alongside the model assets on this website.
